AAG 2015; NSC boss, Yakmut Banks on Athletes, Wrestling, Judo and Teakwando

The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Al-Hassan Yakmut said Nigerians should expect more medals from the four federation; Athletes, Wrestling,  Judo and Teakwando who departed for Congo via a charter flight.

Yakmut who addressed journalist before the athletes took off said Nigeria reserved their best Arsenal for the second interval of the All Africa Games in Congo, Brazzaville.

He told the participating athletes to be good ambassadors urging them to do Nigeria proud.

“I spoke with these athletes in their respective hotels and hostels yesterday, and we told them that as ambassadors, they should do Nigeria proud” Yakmut said.

Yakmut told Nigerians not to panic as the games proper is about to kick off

“We shouldn’t be scared i expect ever Nigerian to sleep well. As of Wednesday we were number 14 and this morning (Thursday), we are number 7. This is what they call geometrical progression and we are going to sustain it and that is why we reserved our Arsenal until Thursday. the four federations that are leaving today (Thursday) are the hidden agenda of Nigeria participation in the games” stated Yakmut.
