Nigeria Boxing Federation has invited 22 athletes to resume camp at the General Kenneth Minimah boxing hostel, Nationla Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
The Olympic qualifier is scheduled for Cameroon from 8th-20th March, 2016.
The Secretary General, Nigeria Boxing Federation, Olusola Luke said Boxers invited includes 18 men and 4 women.
Female Boxers in camp are; 2015 All Africa Gold medalists, Edith Ogoke-Agu, Kehinde Obareh and Caroline Linus, while Toyin Oladeji, Falilat Tijani and Jecinta Umunakwe make up the female team.
Male Boxers in Camp are; 2015 All Africa Gold medalist, Efe Ajagba and Silver medalist, Apochi Efetobor.
Others are; Muyideen Oyakojo, Daudu Azeez, Soyoye Kazeem, Oladosu Rilwan, Femi Oleleye, Korede Adeniyi, Ademuyiwa Kehinde, Ayodele Mike, Danuloko Ekele, Abu Christian, Rahmon Razak and Kenneth Roland.
Olusola stated that two foreign based boxers, Sadiq Umar (UK Based), and Gabriel Francis (Belgium based), who is to face Efetobor Apochi n the heavy weight category are among the boxers that resumed camp on Wednesday.
The coaches in camp includes; Tony Konyegwachie, Adarah Ololehin, Sabo Mohammed, Ossai Christopher and Jeremiah Okorodudu would lead the athletes in camp trials will be conducted on Saturday when only ten boxers (7 men and 3 women)will be selected to represent Nigeria in the Rio 2016 Olympics qualifiers holding in Cameroon from March 8-20 2016.
Meanwhile, a source close to naijacombatcorner said a call was patched to the boxers on Tuesday to resume camp on Wednesday.
According to a source, Boxers who won gold at the 2015 All Africa Games will not pass through the screening trials on Saturday.
He added that the officials already have their favorites stressing that it will affect the commitement level of other boxers.
