After emerging victorious at the British National Indoor Championships, Nigeria Veteran Jumper, Tosin Oke has finally been included to represent the nation at the Portland 2016 IAAF World Championships in Oregon, USA.
The championships hold from March 17 to 20 at the Oregon Convention Centre.
Having been invited by the British Athletics Federation as a guest athlete, the Nigerian led the way to win the title in 16.48m.
The Olympian and One of the leading shot put throwers in the world, Stephen Mozia will also feature in the track event.
Meanwhile, no female field athlete was included in the list.
Team Nigeria will be handled by Eric Campbell, Gabriel Okon, Gabriel Opuana and Daniel Etsebimimor.

According to a statement from Olukayode Thomas on behalf of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), sprinter Ogho-Oghene Ekwero will compete in the men’s 60m.
The trio of Erayokan Orukpe, Chidi Anthony Okezie and Adekunle Fasansi will compete in the men’s 400m, while Patience Okon George will compete in the women’s 400m.
The men’s 4x400m team is made up of Okezie, Orukpe, Fasansi, Samson Nathaniel, Noah Akwu and Henry Okorie, while Abiola Onakoya is listed as the alternate.
The women’s 4x400m team is made up of Patience Okon-George, Regina George, Margret Omolara Bamgbose, Ada Benjamin, and Tamika Jameson. Margret Etim and Praise Idamadudu are the alternate athletes for the event.
