Ahmadi Youths All African Games gets underway in Ijebu Ode

The President Ahmadiyya Youth, Abdul Qadir Abdul Rafi has called on Muslim youths across the world to continue to preach peace and to be good ambassadors of the religion.

The leader of the Ahmaddiya Muslim Jamat in Nigeria, stated this while welcoming participants from different parts of the world to the Ahmadi.

The game is billed for Dipo Dina stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria from 19th to 29th March.

Abdul Qadir Abdul Rafi noted that the games is part of contributions towards supporting the needy, enhance quality of lives, stem the menace of crimes, achieving peaceful coexistence among inter-faith bodies and showcasing the talents among the African Youths.

He said the youth holds the key to the future and must come together to fight a common enemy by promoting peace through sports.

The event features seven games; football, athletics, volleyball, taekwondo, table tennis and scrabble with participants drawn from 20 African countries and beyond.
