Karate; Delta Head Coach triumph at Championship in Asaba

Delta state Karate Head coach, Aina James led the state team to victory at the just concluded National Open Karate Championship held in Asaba.

Delta State emerged overall winner with 8 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze.

Aina has once again proved to be a dominating force in the Nigeria Karate.

An elated Aina James said “It is great to see the athletes perform this way promising to always produce athletes that will represent the state at both national and international tournament

He noted that Benson won 2 Gold medals at the male Individual and Team category which is a good development to the sport.

The championship would be used to select the athletes that would represent Nigeria at the forthcoming African championship.
