Nigeria Female wrestler makes top 3 in latest UWW World rankings

Commonwealth Champion and Rio 2016 hopeful, Odunayo Adekuoroye (53Kg) retains her number 3 spot in the latest United World Wrestling rankings for women.

Adekuoroye is the only Nigerian wrestler that appeared on the Top 20 UWW ranking.

In the number one spot is undefeated champion Saori Yoshida (Japan) and in two is Swedish Sofia Mattsson.

The Nigeria sensational started her fine run by winning double bronze medals at both the 2015 World Championship held in Las Vegas USA and Golden Grand Prix In Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Ondo born wrestler transferred her fine for to gold medal at the 11th All Africa Games and the Pro Wrestling League where she became the favorite wrestler due to her mode of jubilation (Dancing).

Adekuoroye at the 2016 Africa championship won all her bout by technical fall to stamp her dominance in her category.
