2016 Rio Olympics: Who is Blessing Oborududu?  

Blessing Oborududu (63Kg)

Nigeria female wrestler, Blessing Oborududu is a seven (7x) times Africa champion in the 63kg category.

The 27 year old, who hails from Bayelsa state is a two (2x) Olympian between 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio.

She won a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi, India and also won a Bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth games in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Bayelsa wrestler is a silver medalist at the just concluded Spanish grand prix held in Madrid.

Oborududu could not attend the 2015 World wrestling championship in Las Vegas, USA due to a slight injury sustained during training but attended the Grand prix held last 2015 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Oborududu is a 400 level student of the Niger Delta University, Bayelsa studying Business Administration.
