Nigeria Army officer, Hannah Reuben (69Kg) will on Wednesday begin her campaign at the Olympics in the wrestling event.
Hannah is part of the seven wrestlers who will represent the country at the on going 2016 Rio Olympics after sealing a spot at the Africa-Oceanic Olympics qualifier in Algeria.
Eighteen wrestlers will be participating in the 69Kg and they are; Gilda Maria DE OLIVEIRA (BRA), Dorothy Erzsebet YEATS (CAN), Feng ZHOU ( CHN), Enas Mostafa Youssef AHMED ( EGY), Aline FOCKEN (GER), Ilana KRATYSH (ISR), Sara DOSHO (JPN), Elmira SYZDYKOVA ( KAZ), Nasanburmaa OCHIRBAT (MGL), Signe Marie Fidge STORE ( NOR), Agnieszka Jadwiga WIESZCZEK-KORDUS (POL), Natalia VOROBEVA ** (RUS), Anna Jenny FRANSSON (SWE), Wen-Ling CHEN (TPE), Buse TOSUN (TUR), Alina STADNIK MAKHYNIA (UKR) and Maria Jose ACOSTA ACOSTA VEN
The 2014 Commonwealth bronze medalist is a private soldier of 81 Division Physical Training Group.
It is worthy to note that after joining the Nigeria army in 2014, the poacher has never failed to win a medal for the country and the Wrestling federation.
Hannah is a 2014 Commonwealth bronze medalist, 2015 All Africa silver medalist and national champion in her category.
