2016 Rio Olympics; Team Ghana storms Brazil

Team Ghana contingents arrived Brazil Tuesday after departing the country on Sunday night.

The team which comprised of 16 athletes are expected to excel in the tournament which will be held in Rio de Janeiro between August 5-21.

Ghana’s team will be featuring in four sporting events namely; boxing, athletics, Judoka swimming and weightlifting.

Ghana will be presenting first time Olympians; 2 swimmers (Kaya Forson and Abeiku Jackson), one weightlifter Christian Amoah, one judoka who is UK-based Szandra Szogedi, and one boxer Abdul Wahid Omar.

The International Olympics Committee for the 2016 Rio Games announced the supply of 450,000 condoms to the athletes who will be present at the Games.
